In 2011, I founded and co-direct the Miss Next Level Youth Pageant which is a 501c3, non-profit pageant. All of the prizes are donated as well as the gown for the young ladies to wear. The winners get to keep their new gowns as they win free entry into other high-level pageants.
Two of our queens attended their second parade and endured the chilly weather while looking beautiful!
The Miss Next Level Youth Pageant is blessed to have 3 hard working queens!!! Even what I say "you don't have to attend." Their reponses are "Ms. Evelyn, we want to go!" Love it!!! Great fun at the Hightstown Festival supporting Next Level Youth!
Wonderful queens who attended their second walk for Susan G. Koman! They are awesome and so are their parents for supporting the queens!
Giving back is what it's all about and as a titleholder of the NYLPageant, we encourage the queens to volunteer at many events during their reign. It was wonderful to have them join me at the Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser sponsored by Gold's Gym of Lawrenceville.
The ladies enjoyed an evening at the ball park watching the Trenton Thunder Baseball team in the championship series game 3 on September 14. They were also shown on the big screen twice!
On September 9, two of our Miss Next Level Youth Queens (Kassandra and Brittany) began our day together on a 7:30 a.m. train into New York City and spent the day volunteering at the Susan G. Koman Walk in Central Park. Together we raised hundreds of dollars by selling shoe laces. We all had a really good time walking Times Square.
Congratulations to our 2012 winners! The 2013 pageant will be held on June 8 in Hightstown, New Jersey.
